Where are project backups in 10.1.1? Had a crash.. was created by scotopia
I was editing a project when the external drive (where my library resides) was disconnected for a moment, prompting final cut to tell me me to quit, which I did. When I relaunched, the Event which contained that project had a little yellow exclamation point sign on it for missing file.
I see the project is still in finder, but it must have become corrupted. Thus, I was trying to find the backup file but I don't see them anywhere, nor is the Open Library -> From Backup option selectable. Can anyone tell me where the backups would reside if my Library exists on the root level of my external drive? I thought it would be in MyLibrary->MyEvent->MyProject but I don't see anything there but the current version file.
Thanks!

Nevermind; I got it. The backups were being created on my Movies folder on the computer itself; wasn't expecting that because the library is on an external. All is well

Glad you solved your problem. Just so you know, you can change the location of those backups to any drive location, folder, etc. by choosing it in the FCPX preferences.
