Changing video file frame rate?

I'm still new to using FCPX, I started a new project and set the frame rate to 25fps and PAL etc .. but when I go from the project library to the timeline it says the clips are all different frame rates, some are 60 and PAL some are 29 and NTSC... How can I change them so they are all 25fps and PAL SD/720 x 576? Or will it be fine because I made the new project with all the right settings?

What do you have most of? PAL? Then leave it. Don't bother converting the other files. FCP will do that in the project when it tenders it.

I think it's a mix of PAL and NTSC, hopefully more PAL then! I'm exporting it as we speak. How can you check if it's 16:9 ? I was told to save it as 720x576 16:9.

I don't understand the question. All PAL is 720x576. Some of it is 16:9 anamorphically squeezed to fit into that. Look at your material to see if it's widescreen or not. Create a project that matches the material.

When I set up the correct size in new project and put my video files in and go to save it .. it tells me that it can't save due to an issue with the frame rate?

What do mean save it? What are you doing? What exactly does the message say? Post a screen shot.
