How do I get all the clips out of FCP X to desktop

Hello,

I am on a free trial of final cut pro x that is expiring. All of the videos I have shot over the past month I down loaded from my camera to final cut pro x, so they are all stored as clips on FCP X, and I erased them from my camera.

So how do I get all the clips out of there and saved onto my desk top or a USB, without generically dragging the clips into a "new event" creating a video, and then transferring the video to my desktop. Can't I just get all the clips so I don't lose everything I've recorded.

Select the library. Use the Consolidate function. Choose a folder in your desktop. That will move the clips out of the library into the folder.
