I would like to know when I create a Camera Archives FCPX dose a verify file-by-file sizes using checksum technology or any kind of test to ensure that copies are exactly a match to the originals.

Hi Ricky,

No, it doesn't. But you can use external checksum utilities to compare the original media with the copied media. If you often offload camera cards: the latest version of Shot Put Pro has different types of checksum verification.

Does clip browser do a verification, I know the older xdcam transfer did, but I can't find any option in clip browser to turn it on or off?
