Audio Crossfades once audio has been detached. was created by D-UK
Morning all,
I'm trying to create audio crossfades/transitions to smooth over edits. I'm having to detach audio and break them apart as each clip is made up from from the on board Canon 5d sound and my sound recordists audio - (I joined them together using the synchronise tool). This seems to be the only way to adjust the levels of the individual tracks. My only problem is that once the sound clips are detached and broken apart the transition markers (the little dots) seem to have disappeared on the individual clips. Am I missing something?
Any help gratefully received.
Many thanks Damon

Replied by Tom Wolsky on topic Audio Crossfades once audio has been detached.
Rather than break apart the audio you can expand the audio and use the fade handles to create cross fades.
