Can I use the same colour effect throughout a project? was created by gaddster
Hi Guys
I have a 5 min promo for a corporate conference day I covered recently.
As I am putting the story together, I noticed I am starting to use the same 2 effects on every cut! (see attached)
My story is as follows: Intro to building and surrounds, Arrival, Conference am, Lunch, Conference pm, Post conference fun etc..
The conference was filmed with 'NO' light on the speakers (yes madness I know but thats how the client wants it)
any thoughts?

Two options:
Match Color can be applied to multiple clips. My experience has been variable, but it's fast and often is all I need. Making the right frame selection is obviously important.
Paste Attributes is potentially more "accurate" since it's applying the same effects from the referenced clips – but if the clips are not uniformly lit, then one ends up adjusting them independently anyway.
I'd try the first approach with a variety of source frames and see how it works for you.

An adjustment layer might be of some use?
