I am trying to insert a picture here but it seems impossible, no picture just link to my desktop. I have tried TIFF and PNG, different browsers. Is there some problem with this on the web site ?

Make sure your picture is not too big. I usually constrain them to 900 pixels wide @72 dpi. Also make sure the file size is not too big. I keep it under 300 KB and I mostly use jpeg or png.
To insert a picture: press Add File and the file will appear in the box next to the Add File button.
Then all you need to do is insert the link under your text.
