SORRY New.. fade in title and out was created by Stilbite
Apologies for this (hopefully) very basic question!
I have been using ScreenFlow and now trying out FCP X
I basically want to add a title to a STILL IMAGE .. fade it in.. drift it across the page and fade it out.
This is SOOOOOO easy in Screenflow but for the life of me I cannot work out how to do it in FCP X.
Is this programme a bit too advanced for teeny weeny stuff like this?

Use the basic title. Keyframe the position function. In the video animation HUD Control-V you can pull in the fade handles on opacity to fade it in and out.

WOW.. Tom,
Thanks for the stunning quick reply!
I need to understand the "Keyframe the position function" first but I just did ctrl-V and saw a new table of editing. I guess the BASIC TITLE you are referring to is the CUSTOM one in the T field?
