Hello everybody, It's Friday!!! Wohooo.
Im new here, this is my first topic!
Im new to editing also...
I would really need some guidance and help, any help is highly appreciated!
I was asked to film a golf course from the air, with my hexakopter. I filmed a hole and would now like to animate some graphics to this video:
vimeo.com/67960789
I would like to animate the golf ball Trajectories as done in this video:
vimeo.com/73378237
Or something like this:
Anyone knows how to do this, any plugins or something?
Im begging for help...
Anyway, have a great weekend folks

Hey Juha, welcome to the forum.
That's some pretty neat areal footage you have shot with that hexacopter, congratulations!
The example you have linked to has been completely created in a 3D application. In such an app it is quite easy to make the animated golf ball path follow the course, as the scene camera affects both the course and the path graphics.
But it should be possible to replicate this animation over your video without using a 3D app. Do you have Motion 5?

Hi Juha, welcome. Great aerial footage, by the way! What aerial platform and camera did you use? And how long did it take you to get that level of proficiency? Have a great weekend.

Hello Ronny!
Thank you for thouse kinde words and for the reply, im glad that you liked the video!
yes, I have motion 5. I have tried to work with it but dont understand much of it, complicated stuff
What i would need for motion 5 is a tutorial that expains how to do what i need to do... I think i found the right thing in motion 5 today but everything went wrong when I tried edit it.
Please let me know if you have any ideas how to make this work.
Regards/Juha

Hi Chris and thank you!
I realized in 2011 (i think) that this is something that I would like to get involved with when I saw this video:
vimeo.com/13774420
So I started with buying a simulator to teach me to fly, it took about 3 months to feel comfortable and confident. Then I bought a MK hexakopter but it was just too shaky and the films were bad, waste of money .. Then I bought a DJI S800 that I run today and it is with the S800 that I have filmed the golf course. I still have a lot to learn when it comes to multiCopters, evrything with GPS, programming and ground stations etc, it is complicated stuff, but I'm learning slowly but surely.
I film with a sony Nex5n today but im thinking to get the Panasonic GH4 instead.
Then I also had to buy a new computer and editing software ... Everything is new to me and I try to take one step at a time to learn this .. But it's fun and exciting.
