Hello,

I'm having issues when transcoding files from my NXCAM,s FMU. The original file is 1080i, but when transcoding to ProRes 422 in FCPX it becomes 1080p. When i do the transcode in Apple intermediate codec, the result is 1080i. Any ideas on why?

Are you transcoding one internally and the other externally or both externally? They are both 1080i. Look to the left side where it shows 1920x1080 29.97i.

Does the video have any interlace cadence with pulldown?
