I have an existing project on FCPX.
I have to go back now, and replace all the Proxies with original R3D (4k) footage.
Any idea on how I can do this EFFICIENTLY?

All you should have to do is switch playback from proxy to original in the upper right of the viewer. Or did you make the proxies outside of FCP.
