Does anyone know if the file locations of media in dropzones in custom made generators from Motion (along with all the other information about the project) gets revealed when you export XML for a project in FCPX ?

No, not at this moment. Drop zone content connections often get lost in FCPX project XML.

We all expect a further improved FCP XML in the coming FCP X update. Maybe that could finally fix this long-standing issue, who knows...

Looks like Apple has not fixed the drop zone problem in XML 1.7. Drop Zone media is not showing up in an exported XML.
