Kind of bad hack for the subtitle people of us

This morning a got a nice email from a nice guy using my TitleExchange, X-Title Importer and X-Title Extractor.

So the below quote is some kind of shameless self promotion.

Even in the unstable landscape which FCPX is, XTI and XTE are the only safe havens.
Actually, the subtitle templates Andreas developed are more stable than Apple’s!!!!

With the latter even Apple agrees.

So I decided to publish my personal bad hack here. I'm using it since a while.

Only use it in a controlled environment.

You can use the "ctrl-T" or "ctrl-shift-T" to insert a "Basic Title" or a "Basic Lower Third".
So far so good. But I don't never ever use the "Basic Title" especially cause since 10.1 its buggy.
So what to do to get my favorite one instead of the "Basic Title".

Pretty simple:
1st step: Copy and rename your favorite one (Folder name and Motion file) to "Basic Title"
2nd step: Quit FCP X and make a backup of your FCP X app.
3rd step: Open the package contents of FCP X and navigate to:Contents/PlugIns/MediaProviders/MotionEffect.fxp/Contents/Resources/Templates.localized/Titles.localized/Bumper:Opener.localized/Basic Title.localized
4th step: Rename the folder and Moti file to "Apple Basic Title" or something like that.
5th step: Move your own renamed favorite to the parent folder of the former "Basic Title".
6th step: Relaunch FCP X and enjoy your personal short cut.
