When to stabilise footage was created by gaddster

Just wondering at what stage of the edit do you try and stabilise footage taken on a monopod or handheld shot?

1. On import
2. On RC1 (rough cut)
3. Just before CC

I personally always stablize when putting together my rough cut, gotta decide if a clip can be saved or if it needs to be replaced.
