DV Anamorphic bug??

Hi, I imported a P2 media card into FCPX which was shot as DV PAL Anamorphic. The video clips where imported as 4x3 files(not anamorphic), I then proceeded to select all the clips and check the anamorphic checkbox in the inspector window. The clips where then changed indeed to their 16x9 aspect ratio, but the problem was, that now the edges of the clip were cut while looking at them through the browser. Meaning when I look at the clips in the browser it's like watching a 16x9 DVD on a 4x3 TV in Pan&Scan mode, both edges are cut off. However when I move the clips to the timeline and I set the project as DV Pal Anamorphic the video shows up as it should 16x9

Is your Viewer set to "Fit" ?

indeed it does. clips from the browser load up as 4x3, in the right aspect ratio with the sides cut off. in the timeline it shows up 16x9 like it's supposed to
