Export to Youtube- use FC or Compressor?

Hi Everyone.

Is there any difference in quality of export for YouTube go from FC X or Compressor.

I have Compressor, and the workflow is to normally export a master file, then do the Compressor thing.

I have not done it direct from FCPX, and just curious if using Compressor is the better of the two options.

FCPX exports to Youtube using a standard setting that cannot be changed, but which IMO gives quite decent results.

Compressor will allow you to tweak the compression parameters in order to get a better encoding quality, but this will also lead to longer encoding times.

So it's a choice between fast and decent, or slower and possibly better.
