hello FCP community!
I am working on a project and want want to make a video making a screencast from an ipad!
The thing is you can't see where you're touching or wiping!!
I was looking all over the web for tutorials but didn't find anything. Tried camtasia software but the effects are not good.
I use final cut pro x a lot and I feel like it should be possible to do effects like this? Can anybody help me?
Cheers

Hi,
how do you create the screencast? I once used this and it was very helpful: www.airsquirrels.com/reflector/
I don't think it can do the desired effect, though.
For screen casting we here use Screenflow which can foliow the mouse cursor etc. You might give it a try. Or check tool-boxes like Ripple-Training Call Outs or Optics and see if you can find an adjustable template there that you can keyframe to simulate the touches.
I wonder if there is a professional plug-in especially to simulate this effect. Anyone can chime in?
Have a nice day,
Sebastian

thanks for your prompt replay and comments.
I am using reflector for the screencast!
I will give those plugins a try, still wondering if there is something that indicates touches
