10.1.1 issue/bugs? Audio and control problems

Latest version of FCP X... today I can't open up the audio enhancement pane in the inspector regardless of the clip I select plus, The "all", "video only" and "audio only" shortcuts and buttons do not react as they should. If I try to edit a video only clip into the timeline, the audio still comes with it. And the playback function is permanately set to loop playback, I cannot uncheck it in the menu... it continues to stay checked and loops the playback.

These problems seem to have just creeped up on me. I haven't installed any system software that wasn't on the machine already. I have downloaded some templates/plugins from Motionvfx and that's it. Nothing's really changed except the functionality of FCP X.

I have trashed prefs... uninstalled and reinstalled FCP X, trashed the system prefs, and restarted a number of times but all the issues continue. What the heck? Any thoughts/troubleshooting ideas beyond what I've tried would be appreciated... I can still work, but it comes with hassles! Thanks!

Trash your preferences, then shut down the computer and start it up again.

If this does bot help: create a new admin user, launch FCPC and see if you have the same issues with FCPX in the new user account. I think you won't.
