Multi cam question was created by dkag7
Hi,
Is there a way to see the edits done on a multicam clip within the multicam sync areas?
What i mean is if i make a cut on a multicam clip (to another angle or whatever), I want to be able to go into the multicam sync timeline (where it synced the clips) and see this cut that I just made.

The reason for this is because on one cam it needs steady cam work. But the steady cam amount applied will need to be different for various parts of the clip.
So if i can see where i cut to this angle, i can adjust the steady cam amounts needed per the clips cuts.

I need someway to see the edit areas I make in the multicam clip, reflected in the multicam sync area (where you see each individual clip stacked on top each other)..

thanks
Kurt

As far as I know there is no easy way to do this. I usually just do a range export of whatever clips that need stabilizing in the timeline, I reimport them and then stabilize. If you think that the whole clip needs it, then maybe it would be easiest to just go through and cut the clip into sections that will require different kinds of stabilization, and just apply the effect in advance.

Thanks, I was thinking the same thing..
I think ill do all the edits between angles first, then use the timeline index to select the cam cuts that need the effect, and export them as separate clips, then re-import..

seems like an overlook here.. you should be able to see the edits in the angle viewer made in the multicam clip
even markers wont reflect in the angle viewer..

Or, it would be nice if you could add a stabilizer to a Multi cam clip... or even to an adjustment layer and do it that way..

thanks
