The best training is this book, hands-on, best quality:
www.peachpit.com/store/apple-pro-trainin...sional-9780321949561

Best quality online training is either Ripple Training or macProVideo.

Also check out MacBreak Studio. It's the lite version of Rippletraining. Every week a new episode. Check out the older ones for the basics.
www.pixelcorps.tv/macbreak_studio or on iTunes.

Another resource that has subject lists/links is FCPX.tv link here…
fcpx.tv
Nice to be able to have a resource to narrow the search a little. They do a good job of finding nice resources, IMHO. I also second the others mentioned here. Don't forget to search this site right here at fcp.co as Peter does an excellent job of providing the resources.
Hope this helps, Greg

Did the guy in the video really pick up the weapon with his finger in the trigger guard! WOW I would not want to be around him. Nice rack focus on the video.

haha the guy in the video is me and the "weapon" is a air powered bb gun that wasn't cocked or loaded. (it only makes a red mark when your shot with it anyway lol

thanks i hope to get a follow focus soon as doing it on the lens is hard to get accurate and smooth

What happened to Diana Weynand? Is this a total rewrite for 10.1?

Complete reworking of Apple authorized training from the ground up. And MUCH needed for a long time. Yes, all new for 10.1. You work on only one project from start to finish, no more jumping around between different partial projects, getting confused. No more fluff to fill up space, just to the point, clear, easy workflow. Infinity better than previous formats of the book. And written first and foremost to be an eBook. Sections and lessons are numbered so referring to them is way easier, not just a page number that doesn't work with an eBook. So eBook and paper book users can compare notes without confusion. As a long time trainer who travels a lot, I always used the eBook. It used to be impossible to refer to page numbers when students had paper books. The media used is much smaller, more compact, easier to download and use. This book covers much more ground in much less time with much greater ease. Apple Worldwide Training has also given us trainers a lot of support material, which helps us a great deal.

Way better than the older books, best to date.

Wwynard's books were OK, but she only re-edited the previous version with each edition, rather than re-write for the new versions and features. Brendan Boykin does an amazing, superior job with this book, hands down.

If you order the eBook version from PeachPit directly (yes, more expensive) you get three eBook versions: PDF, EPUB, MOBI. I think with Amazon you only get the Kindle version (MOBI, I think). If you get the paperback version, there are instructions on how to download the tutorial materiel. I'm not sure, but my impression is the book doesn't come with a DVD any longer. But it is an easy download.
