start new project and it is HD 1080i and i will use SD archive divx.

FCP X UpScales very bad/ many artefacts on diagonals.
Compressor very good but slow and Prores need lot of HDD space.
FX Factory UpScale plug not good.

may be someone has any idia?

GIGO. First, DiVix is horrible. Second, do you really need 1080? 720 not enough? Third, never ever uprez to interlaced. It just emphasizes the crappiness of the media. If you really want to do this at a professional level you really have to do this in a hardware conversion box

Even with the most pristine quality SD video, enlarging it to even 720 HD will cause a loss of image quality. As Tom says, there are products that do this quite well, but they are far from cheap (or affordable for most folks).

And he is also correct in that DIVix really sucks bad.

i am working in documentary film production about 10 years.
I know problems of DIVX. Neatvideo is good enough to fix them/
I know about loss of image quality so what? reject editing project? 1080i not 720p.

Hardware? did you hear yourself?:)))

is all of these helpful?

There is FCPX thats all.
already found how to fix my problem by a little motion plugin

Being nasty to folks who are sincerely trying to help won't get you far.

Yes, hardware encoders are far superior.

Glad you found a solution.

For what it's worth, I think the "Without Effect" looks better than the "With Effect".
