Syncing clip audio settings and filters

I've searched for answers to this but keep getting results for syncing audio to video clips.

I have a timeline that has an audio clip that has been segmented. I've applied a compressor and EQ filter to the first clip. Now I want to apply that to the rest of the clips. If I do copy>paste attributes, it works great for the first round. But if I make changes to the filter settings in the first clip and the paste attributes to the others, it pastes additional filters to the other clips.

How can I simply sync the filter settings throughout all the clips?

I assume you're opening the Sync clip into its own Timeline?
Put them all in a Compound Clip, apply the filters to that CC.
