Retiming with keyer applied

Can someone with 10.1 try this for me (I can't use 10.1 yet)? I'm wondering if they've fixed a certain bug.

Take a clip and apply the KEYER effect to it. Great. Now press Command-R to bring up the retiming bar. Try to drag it faster or slower. Does FCPX crash and put you back on the desktop? It always does on 10.0.9 for me. In order to do it you have to remove the keyer (not just turn it off), retime and then reapply.

I really hope they've fixed it because I'm not a big fan of buggy software.

Thanks.

I have done that a few time with 10.0.9 without issue. I can do it in 10.1 without issue, also. This happens with just one, or with other keyed clips?

It happens every time. It might be a 10.6.8 issue. Either way I'm happy as the issue won't be there when I get my Mac Pro with Mavs. Can't wait until 10.10 or OS 11 as the even-numbered OS's always seem to be the best.

Update... it only happens when the clip I'm trying to retime is on the primary storyline.

Works fine for me. clip in primary, apply keyer, pick a color for laughs, open retime thumb and drag fast, slow, etc. No crashing

Because it's FCP X... you can put the BG clip underneath the primary. :-)
