Just occurred now to me to import a logo in illustrator and can’t figured out how to do it in full quality…
Do I have to raster the image before importing? or eps do work?

FCP doesn't work with vector graphics. Rasterize it to the size you need.

But you can use your .ai file in motion and uncheck the box "fixe resolution" in the media properties tab of the inspector. Then you can take advantage of a vector file.
