Hello.
I need help with the making of a transition.
On the timeline; I have two films. I crop the film on the top an position it in the corner.

Here is what I want;

- When I start the main film the film on the top shall appear in the corner (as it does now) of the main film, then after some seconds the film in the corner shall overtake and be the main film.
So either a zooming transition in to the small film or a transition the other way.

Anyone who can be so kind and help me ?

Tnx

There are many ways you can do this in FCPX. Is this the kind of animation you are looking for?

YES Ronny !
Thats the one.
Thank you for an informative way to learn me !
Maybe you can recommend some learningbooks or web-places to learn moore about the several ways to do this.
But, this way is accurate what I needed.
Thank you.

There are many free FCPX tutorials on the web, just google "FCPX transform" or "FCPX keyframing" and you will be able to learn much more about using the Transform and Crop tools in FCPX.

If you want to get deeper into the FCPX application the best thing you can do is to get some proper online training. There are many training courses available from macprovideo.com, rippletraining.com, larryjordan.biz and many others. It's up to you to see which ones you prefer.

And, of course, if you have any questions about FCPX this is absolutely the best place to ask them :)
