Can't Copy and Paste Attributes. was created by Mike Petty
This little problem just popped up. I am working on a project and had some effects (sharpen and a Crumple Pop effect) applied. I tree to copy and paste attributes. Nothing. No window to make my selections etc. I could copy and paste effects but I don't want to do that as I had a correction on the clip that I did not want to apply to the new one.
Any Ideas? This has come out of nowhere.
Thanks

1. Quit FCPX and launch it again. Does this solve the problem? If it doesn't:
2. Refresh your FCPX preferences and see if this helps. If it doesn't:
3. Create a new admin user account, then launch FCPX with the new user. Do you still have the problem?

Thanks Ronny...
I appears that I have a corrupted library not FCPX Overall. That did not occur to me until after I trashed the prefs and started thinking a little harder. I opened a library with another project and the past attributes function worked fine.
Luckily I am early into the job so starting over with a fresh library is fine as opposed to having to burn FCPX down, reinstall and have to reinstall about a thousand plug ins!
