Odd behavior when copying projects

Odd behavior when copying projects was created by Rvdenmark
Now, this is indeed strange; sometimes when I copy a project from one library to another, some of my audio files come across as offline. I can see the audio clip with filename and everything in the time line and I can access the file information in the inspector. However I am not able reconnect to the file. When I press "relink files" the pop up window is just empty. I cannot reconnect to the clip.
The strangest thing however is that the clip in the inspector suddenly shows up as a 6 kHz clip. Originally the clips is 44.1 (I can see this in the original version of the sequence) but somehow in the copy it shows as a 6 kHz clip.
Has anyone experienced this odd behavior??

Hey Ryan,
This is indeed very strange. I have tried to reproduce this with some mp3 files in a Project but I don't see that problem here.
If the audio files are in an external location (i.e. not inside a Library) you can relink the Project and when the Relink window opens select Relink: "All" instead of "Missing". The problematic files should be in the list. Then you navigate to the external folder and you should be able to relink them.
If the audio files are inside a Library there is a trick for relinking: open the Library in Finder, go to the Event folder where the audio files are and copy the files from the Event onto your desktop. Then in FCPX relink to the files on your desktop making sure to import them into your destination Library. That should work as well.
Anyway it's a strange issue, especially as the problematic files show 6 KHz instead of 44.1 I would surely send feedback to Apple about this.
