TrackX vs Drop Zone in point. was created by sirdavidabraham
(Using the track layer in Coremelt Track X)
When I use the "Insert Layer" drop zone the inserted clip starts from the beginning of the clip instead of the "in point" I select in the event browser.
Is there any way around this?
EDIT: I heard from the developer...the solution is to turn the inserted clip into a Compound Clip first.

I had the exact same issue yesterday. Compound clip is the only way around this at the moment (apparently it's an fcpx issue with drop zones, rather than a track x issue)
I've found its actually really handy having them in a compound clip though. As you can Audition or stack up different options and quickly see them in place after a render.
