Hmmm..... Inertiacam Stabilization - sometimes Tripod mode can be selected and other times not, with nothing obvious as to why not.
Can't find anything that talks about this.
Any ideas why it's sometimes disabled on clips that would seem idea for it?

Tripod is only available when the application thinks it can lock the image.
