Keyed footage issue with dissolves was created by damiangrady
Anyone experienced an issue whereby keyed footage (using keyer) loses it's alpha when a dissolve is applied to it that overlaps another dissolve on a different clip (above it)?
Just happened to me. Any ideas?

FCPX can be weird with transitions from the secondary to primary story lines. My way around this type of issue in the past has been to either compound the clip and put it in the main storyline, or option drag the clip in the primary to the secondary.
In general, transitions can be a weak point in FCPX sometimes, so I end up using the opacity faders pretty often.
