Lock titles and captions to clips in secondary storyline.

The subject says it!

Is there a way of nailing my text to individual clips in the secondary storyline without getting into compound clips? As soon as I change the duration of a shot - bang! all my captions down the line are out of sync.

Connected clips are always connected to the Primary Storyline, never to secondary ones. And I agree sometimes it would not be a bad thing if this was possible without compounding, so post feedback to Apple about this.

If you make a change in the Primary and you don't want this to mess up any connected clips, press the tilde key to temporarily un-connect your clips.
