Hi there,

We're going through a trial process at our production house with FCP X 10.1 with a view to moving over fully from PremPro. I just wondered if someone could just clarify for me how the proxy file system works when selected and does everything get reconnected to the optimum quality files on export automatically or is there a manual process that has to be carried out first?

It's not automatic, but the process is no more than switching playback from proxy to original.
