Can anyone else see this error?

Create a new project. Drop a solid custom generator in the timeline. Turn on distort and then try to drag the upper left corner of the distort controls into the center (as if you were trying to make a triangle - which is what I was trying to do).

Every time I do this, FCP locks up.

As anyone else seeing this error or is it just me?

You are not alone

Just tested this and I think it's another bug. Strangely enough you still can do some stuff while FCPX hangs on the distort, but the GPU fans start acting crazy until you force-quit the app. So it's a graphics-related issue. Post feedback to Apple.

I'm glad to hear it's not just me.

I think this is definitely a new bug in 10.1 - as I created a triangle like this before in 10.9 without issue.

I've even tested it on different computers in different projects and it always seems to lock it up.

Odd, you wouldn't think something as simple as this could repeatedly cause a crash.

I will post some feedback and hopefully others will too.
