I've never used PluralEyes before, but it seems to be a commonly used app. Was looking for feed back to see if it worth the $200 price tag?
I have been (painfully) manually synce sound bits from external recording devices to the corresponding video... abviously not the best workflow. Which is why I'm considering purchasing the program. Majority of my projects are wedding trailer/features.
Are there any issues run the program with 10.1? Thanks.

Are you having any issues with the FCPX built-in sync function?

Yes... considering this is the first I'm hearing about it haha. Is there an easy way you could explain how it works?

Its pretty easy, just select all the clips you want to sync, right click and choose Synchronize Clips, or if you are doing a Multicam clip, choose New Multicam Clip.
Plural Eyes has worked better for me in the past but I haven't tried it again in 10.1. I also use it with Premiere Pro.
If the built in sync options don't work well enough for you, download the PluralEyes trial and give it a go.

It's worth it if you need flexibility.
Pluraleyes can also make new versions of the clips that don't contain camera audio. And as silly as it sounds, for tough to sync dual system audio that was recorded badly in camera, the 'try really hard' setting does actually work sometimes.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I tried a test clip using the synchronize clips function in FCPX, it did a decent job. I'm probably going to download the trial of pluraleyes as well and give that a go, then see what gives the best results and what works best for me. Thanks again.
