Hi guys,
I have been working with 10.1 for some time now, and i need to update an old project from 1 year ago.
The project was in the final cut projects folder, and the event is in the final cut events folder (on the root directory of the external drive)
It does not get recognized by FCPX 10.1 at all?
Any suggestions?

Did you try going to File, then Update Projects and Events. Then select locate?

Just got it to work... I selected update all and that did it. Thanks for your help, I didn't realize you could attempt an update manually

That could mean you have a corrupt project or event file. Try project repair from Digital Rebellion, they have a two week trial.
Just saw you got it to work good news!

You click Locate then select the drive called Mac Archive then click Update. The dialog disappears and then the background task starts turning and then the application goes non-responsive? Basically got that right?
Do you have 10.0.9? Can it access the projects and events on that drive?
How is the drive formatted?
