Serial Number was created by toejamcallahan

I bought a used MacBook computer in 2010 and it came with Final Cut Pro (not sure what version) on it. I opened FCP today and now it is requiring me to enter a serial number in order to use it. Since I bought the computer with FCP on it I don't have a serial number, so is there any way I can get around this?

Selling a computer with commercial software installed on it is illegal. You can contact the seller and ask for the serial number, but even then you will always be using an illegal copy.
