Hi everyone.
Back when working in FCS 7, I made Tiff files 72 dpi, approximately 30mb each, and always sized each image at 3600 pixels wide. This allowed my to do some motion control and moves on a photo.
Is the size limit the same for X or can you go larger. Any other photo advice welcome too.
Thanks.
Jonathan

Theoretically you could go larger since FCPX can address a lot more memory, but there's no real point especially for something like a 1080p project (4k and up will be larger of course). You will rarely if ever zoom into a still enough to warrant the extra size. I remember that FCP7 was very bad about this and would crash with no warning if you tried a lot of images much larger than that (a memory issue).
