DVD to auto loop from FCPX

Hello. I am exporting DVD and BluRays of the same project in FCPX. I can turn on looping on the BluRay export within FCPX but do not have that option for DVD. Am I missing something? I need these DVD/BR to auto loop for client is taking them to trade shows and can't rely on looping options from various playback devices. Thank you.

I don't think you are missing anything. Thru the share DVD option in FCPX you can set the standard DVD to play automatically when inserted, but at the end it always returns to the basic title menu, requiring a press play to restart.
I am not aware of any workarounds for this to loop playback. You probably need to use an authoring program like DVD Studio Pro or Adobe Encore.

A client asked me to provide this recently (for use in a store dvd).. i couldn't find an option in fcpx or idvd.

However, I ended up using TOAST 11 and set the preferences to loop and play on start, that way as soon as the dvd is switched on, it plays and continuously loops.
