Please fill us in on the performance of this disk. Looks like some RAID suppliers are moving to provide SSD disks. We have two companies here in Taiwan that already provide SSD RAIDs. I may get one.

500GB-1TB just isn't enough space. My seagate backup plus goes to about 180Mbps and it's really fast enough for 1080p, sure I have to proxy multicam, but who cares? Proxy is 1/4 the size  . If you're working on 4K this drive would be great, but only for really small and short projects because 4k files are huge. Prices really need to drop before these kind of drives make sense for video editors.

4K is a very expensive investment. It may take me at least two to three years before I can make the jump.
However I am really interested to move to SSD drives for 1080p works
