Bit of an odd one ...
Yesterday I imported a PSD file (RGB etc... so all correct format) which showed in the event. It is also within the Original Media folder within FCPX. This file no longer shows in the event. I've searched for it, made sure it isn't rejected and so on, it literally doesn't show. If I delete the file from the Original Media folder it moans about the missing file and asks me to relink it. If I then put the file back from trash, the relink media complaint goes away but the file still does not show in the event.
Any ideas?

Is the file in a project? Use Shift-F to restore it to the browser. New feature (?) you can remove a file from the browser that's in a project without trashing it. Theoretically u can have an empty browser and just have the clips in a project.

No, not in a project at all. It's just disappeared from the Event Browser totally.
I've had lots of probelms before with PSDs prior to 10.1 just going offline even through all the files were in the correct places and normally just end up using PNGs instead as I generally don't need the layers. Be nice to find out why the Event Browser is hiding it though.
