wait to update? was created by parkerhqj
I've been traveling and missed the update release. It's hard for me to gauge how problematic it's been. Is it worth waiting until the next update which will address bugs or are most people happy enough with it to just jump in? thx

If you are currently in the middle of any projects, I would wait until those are completed. If you have some down time, it would probably be helpful to update now and get your projects and events converted to the new libraries (something you'll have to eventually go thru). The .1 version certainly has some bugs, but is still very useable. I would think some of the glaring issues will be addressed by Apple very soon.

I agree with that in most cases. If the update has new features that are advantageous to what you are working on, then I would say go for it. Just be sure and back up all your projects, events, and especially your 10.0.9 version by compressing it as a zip file.
As long as you do that, you can check and see if everything is OK in 10.1. If it's not you can easily go back to 10.0.9 which pre 10.0.0 wasn't so easy.

Thanks for the replies. I'm always in the middle of projects as I work on multiple projects simultaneously. I do have a short window to do this now, so I think I'll go for it. Fingers crossed!
