Hello all. One of my favorite songs is "Champagne Supernova" by Oasis, and I especially like the music video to it. I'm wondering whether it's possible in FCPX to get a camera spinning effect much like they have it spinning over the bed in the video? I'm looking at making a music video and would like to use an effect like that without having to physically move the camera. I know they probably had the camera physically spinning, but is there some sort of effect that can give the same results, and how would I go about doing it? Thanks!

Quick answer: no. Even if you were to rotate a source clip like they do in that clip, you'd have too little height to fill the frame. If you shot 4K then zoomed in to the centre, you'd be OK (as it's 2160 pixels high) but you might as well spin the camera instead.

Thanks for replying, but I literally just now figured it out. Keyframing with transform rotation. I happened to stumble upon a YouTube video showing how it's done. I know, not a new concept, but new to me, lol. I see what you mean about the height, which, luckly I had the camera placed far enough away to where I could zoom in pretty close and fill the frame without any blackness showing. B)
