I'd like to be able to play with the "datamosh" compression artifact type effect in Final Cut Pro. If you aren't familiar with what I'm referring to check out here's
a great example
and another
decent example
.
I haven't found anything that will let me do this inside FCPX. Most of the methods I have found involve messing with the data of a video file in a text editor or similar. If I want to incorporate it into a project that makes things pretty tedious.
One tool that looked promising was this Quartz Composer plugin . I assume there's some way to get a QC plugin into FCP but I am not finding much info.
Anyone who can point me in the right direction on this will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
