My question is what version of Premier are they using? Hasn't the most recent CC update improved OpenCL performance? The negative connotation colours their whole review- if you're not using Apple's software, you won't see great performance.

Did that guy actually say: "buy an iMac and stick it under the desk"? Well, I guess that says it all
In spite of their desperate efforts to bash the new MacPro and FCPX, what this video basically says is that the new MacPro is the fastest Mac ever and if you want to get the most out of its power you really shouldn't be using Premiere. Nice try, guys!

Update:
Reading through some comments I found a post mentioning that Adobe does support the dual GPUs in the new Mac Pro since version 7.2.1 releases last week.
So Disproportionate Pictures may be correct that The Verge was not using the latest version when they made this video, which makes the entire video obsolete. If this is the case I feel sorry for them that they have put so much effort in this

That certainly seems to be the case, Ronny.
Also, their testing the graphics cards using Portal (as one gamer put it- one of the most optimized games out there) isn't entirely honest to the nature of the machine. This is NOT a gaming rig.
