Relinking offline images - FCPX sees them but thinks they are video

Hi all - I'm trying to relink some images which went offline (I still don't know exactly why). That aside I have located the Jpegs and FCPX can see them but when I select the file i get this message:



Definitely no video properties - just a simple jpeg.

Any ides?

What version are you on? I had that happen in 10.0.9. on a doc project with many stolen from the web stills and videos. (Not my idea)

Some DVD footage would come in as audio only and appear black with no explanation. Some of the stills would do the same as your problem. Some I could do a save as in preview and they relinked.

10.1 seems to be better at this so far. Knock wood...

Sure did! Flying, using the plane wifi and it signed me out. Stupid internet not working while flying in the air going 500mph... Louis CK was right.

I'm in 10.1 Migrating from 10.0.9

I think I am going to manually replace them for now. Thanks!
