Plugin<Color Assist>: Failed to Render was created by irose_57

Since upgrading to 10.1 I'm having a problem with the Technicolor Color Assist plugin. I get the message Plugin<Color Assist>: Failed to Render.

Any ideas as what could be causing this? And since Techicolor stopped supporting it I guess there's no point in asking them.....
