Possible with larger timecode window with new FxPlug 3 functions?

Hi,
One of the things I miss in fcpx is a larger timecode window. This is a must when working in pair with a reporter. The small standard timecode display is just too small and too hard to read from a distance.
The new FxPlug 3 functions "allows developers to create custom interfaces for their plugins inside of Final Cut."
So does anyone have an idea if it is possible to make a larger timecode window that displays the source timecode?
Thanks!

I am hoping soon to get back into TV News video editing, having decent timecode reading on the screen would be so useful, if you come across any sort of solution it would help so much.
Thank you for asking...

Wow, not even 7, eh? Interesting. Yeah, when I teach my FCP X classes, first think I do is ask legacy FCP users to raise their hands. Then I tell them to take everything they've ever known and done with it, and throw it out of the window. 100% of them walk away after 3 days of training never wanting to look back. But I'm getting side tracked here...
On my desktop, the Dashboard's TC is plenty big enough for me to read. But I can see if you're on a laptop with a smaller screen, it could be small.

FxPlug3 would indeed allow the creation of such a plugin. If there's sufficient demand for a larger TC window some developer might jump onto this. It all depends on how many people really need such an option.

It is big enough for me too, but not for the guy sitting next to me who just has to take a quick glance at it while writing the story or logging the interviews.
I'm on Avid at work, and it has a really nice scalable TC panel and also a nice plugin to display burned in source timecode.
If it indeed is possible I really hope someone with the skills takes the challenge!
