Has anyone ever used a HyperDeck Shuttle 2 as a playback device?
If I share a master file in ProRes 422HQ and use their naming convention "CaptureXXXX", I can see and playback the files from my HyperDeck. I can't, however, get audio to work.
Some people over on BMD's forums have said that it only works with 16-channel audio. I don't know how to do anything but stereo or surround with FCPX. One of BMD's people suggested a workaround by importing the project to FCP7 or iMovie and re-encoding it as 16 channels, but that's not a realistic solution for me.
Hoping someone here has figured out how to make this work!
