Reveal In Finder 10.1 Issue ? was created by Craig R
Hi Chaps I was hoping someone could shed some light on an issue with FCPx 10.1
In FCPX 10.0.9 If I had Transcoded some footage to Optimised and or Proxy and Right Clicked on the Clip in the event libary and selected Reveal In Finder it would show the Clip in the Transcoded Media/High Quality Media folder same for if I had Proxy on it would show the Clip in Transcoded Media/ProxyMedia Folder.
But With FCPx 10.1 It always only shows the Original Media folder with clips in it
I have Transcoded the Clip and it show as Optimised and Proxy in the Info Section and I have checked the Folder Transcoded Media in Finder and the files are there, But How can I be 100% FCPX using the Optimised File if it Show the Original Media Folder When I Select Reveal In Finder.
Can someone check on their System to see if it Shows the Original Media folder or the High Quality Media Folder
Thanks

Yes, that's the current behavior. You just have to trust them that the optimized media is being used.

Oh No Why would they change that ? I thought I must of Messed Up In Some Way.
Everything else in 10.1 is good for me but I must be an untrusting person
as I like to be able to know what kind of clip is being used by using the Reveal In Finder Option.
For Me I hope they change it back as I can't understand why they would remove or change the way it worked before.
Thanks Tom for replying
I wonder what everyone else thinks ?

I'm concerned there is no way to trash proxies or Optimized media if you chose to do that, without using "Show Package Contents".
