Horizontal Scrolling bar and Library setup

I'm wondering if anyone has found a way to re-enable the horizontal scrolling bar in the timeline? I'm not a fan of having to use my magic mouse to scroll left-right.
I also wanted to ask about my 10.0.9 to 10.1 migration to new Mac Pro. I updated all of my events at the same time and let 10.1 create one library called updated events, or whatever it was. From here, I created 13 new Libraries, one for each event and Moved the event and project file into these libraries. I trashed the updated events Library and went back in and opened each project file into the timeline and let each project render out. I now have 13 library icons on my video drive. Again, this is what I wanted, one library for each old event.
I plan to copy these 13 libraries to my Thunderbolt RAID and connect it to my new Mac Pro when it arrives. Since all the project/event/media/render files are contained within this library icon, there should be no problem opening these Libraries into FCP 10.1 on my new Mac Pro, correct? Obviously if they update to 10.1.1 in the meantime I realize the libraries will need to be updated, but other than that, can anyone see a problem with the way I migrated?
Thanks so much for your input!

As long as the Events and Libraries are consolidated, no External Media, you'll be good to go.
BTW, I can't live without Magic Trackpad scrolling. Way nicer than the Magic Mouse.

Likewise! Even better with Better Touch Tool. It allows for a rough cut without touching the keyboard.

There should be a scroll bar there. I haven't found an option to disable it. The manual refers to it and it is there on my application.
Creating history....one edit at a time !

If you have a wheel mouse, hold down the shift key while scrolling with the wheel. This will scroll horizontally.
